Promises Made. Progress Delivered. The Work Continues.
My First Term: Delivering Results (2023 - 2027)
Serving on the Rich Township High School District 227 Board of Education has been one of the greatest honors of my life. Since taking office in 2023, I have remained committed to responsible leadership, student success, fiscal accountability, and strengthening opportunities for every family in our district.
Highlights of My First Term

Worked alongside state and local leaders to advocate for the future of the former Rich East Campus, contributing to securing more than $30 million in the State of Illinois Fiscal Year 2028 budget for redevelopment and future community benefit.
Protected Taxpayers
Voted against increasing the district's property tax levy, reflecting my commitment to fiscal responsibility while supporting quality education.
Strengthened Financial Leadership
Served on the committee responsible for selecting the district's new Business Manager, helping ensure strong financial oversight and accountability.
Expanded Community Partnerships
Advocated for increased partnerships with nonprofit organizations, businesses, colleges, and community agencies to expand wraparound services and student support.
Championed Financial Literacy
Successfully advocated for a Financial Literacy credit course for 9 -11th grade students, helping prepare graduates with essential life and money management skills.
Protected Community Resources
Advocated for maintaining the former Rich East Campus so residents could continue using the walking and running track while redevelopment plans move forward.
The Work Continues (2027–2031)
While we have made meaningful progress, there is still important work ahead.
My priorities for the next four years include:
-
Expanding career and technical education opportunities

Together, we can continue building a district where every student has the opportunity to thrive and every family is proud to call Rich Township High School District 227 home.
